Monseigneur John A. Lunney was tasked with forming a new parish in West Anchorage. The old Parish (now known as the Lunney Center), was constructed in 1976. Since its founding our parish has grown into a very diverse community with families from different ethnic backgrounds.
In 2005 the construction of the actual church began, thanks to the parishioners and gracious donors the Church was inaugurated on the 12th of December 2005.
Today we are a Co-Cathedral staffed by Vincentian Fathers. Our parish continues to be very diverse and we continue to grow with many multicultural communities and events.
